SurvivalBuilder DMCA Policy

At SurvivalBuilder, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and are committed to complying with U.S. copyright law. As such, we do not intend to, nor do we want to, host content that infringes upon the copyrights of others.

The resources found on SurvivalBuilder have been populated from a range of sources, including being uploaded by users of SurvivalBuilder, and other websites. While SurvivalBuilder has automated processes in place to detect and remove copyrighted material, we happily accept DMCA submissions to aid in the removal of copyrighted material.

This DMCA Policy outlines our adherence to Section 512(c) of Title 17 of the United States Code and provides information on how copyright holders can submit a takedown notice, how users can submit a counter notice, and our policy on repeat infringement.

Submitting a Takedown Notice

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been posted on SurvivalBuilder without your authorization, you may submit a takedown notice to our designated agent at support@survivalbuilder.com. Pursuant to Section 512(c) of Title 17 of the United States Code, your takedown notice must include the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works;
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material;
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address at which you may be contacted;
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Upon receipt of a valid takedown notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content and notify the user who posted the content, as required by law.
