MCWP 2-26 (formerly MCWP 2-12.1) is a publication by the U.S. Marine Corps which provides doctrine and higher order tactics, techniques, and procedures for intelligence operations related to geographic intelligence in support of the Marine air-ground task force (MAGTF). It details aspects such as doctrinal fundamentals, command & control systems support, planning & execution processes etc.,
The primary target audience of this publication are personnel responsible for planning & executing geographic intelligence operations or those who provide support or use results from these operations.
It describes how GEOINT can be used to provide strategic/operational/tactical level information that can be utilized across various military functions like situation development; targeting; command & control; maneuvering forces; fire support etc.,
